At Texas Ridge, we believe the best pork in the world starts with healthy, happy animals. Our herd of heritage breed pigs has the opportunity to live exactly as nature intended, with a great diet, lots of sunlight, and plenty of exercise. As we rotationally graze them through woods and pasture, they are given ample room and opportunity to exhibit instinctive behaviors like rooting, wallowing, nesting and foraging. We offer them a custom mix of locally-grown non-GMO barley, oats and peas as their only feed supplement. Our pigs receive no antibiotics, hormones, medications of any kind.
