Hang weights

Our finished hogs typically hang at between 150 and 200 pounds, with an average of 175 pounds. You can expect your "take home meat" to weigh in at roughly 66-71% of the hang weight. If you are looking for something smaller or larger, please contact us, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

 Uncured or "nitrite-free" meats

Many people ask about an "uncured" option for their bacon and hams. Did you know that most "uncured" products that claim to have "no added nitrites" are actually cured, AND contain nitrites?
